This is why I got into stained glass. I am a plant lover and always loved growing carnivorous plants, like venus fly traps and pitcher plants. I never had much luck because I never had an adequate containter for them. I thought, "Well, gee, could I make a big enough container out glass?" My friend Brian Lapierre, who had been doing stained glass for many years happened to have a pattern book for stained glass terrariums. With that book that Brian loaned me, my problems were solved. I made a really nice terrarium for my venus fly traps. Then I decided to make another, and then another. I was then hooked on glass art and started other projects, and that was many years ago.
